A Good Chicago Roofing School Is Your Ticket For Passing The Illinois Roofing Exam

Those who want to know how to become certified for Chicago roofing in the state of Illinois can do so by attending a Chicago roofing school. While Illinois is a big state and there are other roofing institutions that boast excellent courses, Chicago has more schools under its belt than all of the state combined. In order to get a proper roofer license there are a couple of things that you should keep in mind before registering to a roofing school.

What is the test?

The examinations have been carefully developed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to reflect all standards and practices conducted by roofing professionals. Exams take up to 90 minutes and all questions have been subjected to intense analysis to better incorporate all roofing aspects. Those who wish to be licensed in both Residential and Commercial Roofing will have to first earn a Residential roofing license.

What do I need to get in?

An eligible candidate needs to have background experience in specified branches of employment and/or education. Having a sturdy character also impacts one’s eligibility. If you wish to enroll for an exam you will have to apply for a candidacy. This is usually done at a Chicago roofing school or even at the IDFPR.
